So I finally got to read an Abbi Glines book, Until Friday Night, one that sounded PERFECT (I mean, this screams Friday Night Lights, a show I LOVE), and was completely underwhelmed. I loved the premise and the setting, but the story, characters, and writing are where I found it lacking. The characters felt disingenuous in this setting. Glines' novel will be welcomed by fans of Lurlene McDaniel who want something with more depth.
